If I had to pick one activity I enjoyed the most (besides those elusive naps)... it would have been the
EPIC Hike
This was a really long hike that took us off the regular trails. The kids loved it.
The scenery was beautiful. The weather perfect. Lots of interesting land formations.
Mother Nature speaks volumes...
without any words....
she sings a symphony....
I'm glad this sign was on the other side of the river...
An abandoned building
And in the middle of a hike...
just call Ms Sarah, the EXTRAORDINAIRE
and she'll bring you POPCICLES!
No wonder all the kids LOVE her :)
... and her ability to see eye to eye with them ;)
Now what could possibly top that off?
Maybe a special campfire?
or maybe what was in the fire...
that's another story....
